THE BOND LIMITED WARRANTY AND PURCHASE PROTECTION

LIMITED WARRANTY

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so certain limitations or exclusions below may not apply to you. A dated sales acknowledgment or receipt is required for all warranty requests. Any dispute or controversy regarding this Limited Warranty arising from your use of your Bond™ will be resolved by final and binding bilateral arbitration.

IMPORTANT SAFETY & SECURITY NOTICE — NOT A SECURITY OR LIFE-SAFETY DEVICE

Bond™ products are not designed, intended, or certified for use as security or life-safety devices. Do not rely on Bond™ for personal protection, intrusion detection, emergency notification, or any application where device failure could result in injury, loss, or damage. Any use of Bond™ products for security or life-safety purposes is at the sole risk and responsibility of the user. Olibra makes no warranties of fitness for security or life-safety uses and is not liable for any damages arising from such use.

WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS

For a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase of your Bond™, or one (1) year from the date of receipt of your replacement Bond (see below), Olibra Inc. (“Manufacturers of Bond”) will, at its sole option, repair or replace any Bond™ that malfunctions due to defective parts or workmanship at no charge to you. This standard warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original consumer purchaser for items purchased and shipped within the U.S. market.

Extended Warranty for Professional Versions. Certain Bond™ products designated by Olibra as “Professional” versions (e.g., identified as Bond™ Pro / Bond™ Professional in product packaging, documentation, or SKU) carry a warranty period of three (3) years from the date of purchase, or three (3) years from the date of receipt of your replacement Bond for that Professional product. Unless a product is expressly identified by Olibra as a Professional version, the standard one (1) year warranty applies. The extended warranty does not apply to accessories, power supplies, or third-party components unless explicitly stated in the product documentation.

Olibra may, in its sole discretion, make any repair or replacement with new or refurbished product or components. If the product or component requiring repair or replacement is no longer available, Olibra may, in its sole discretion, replace such product with a similar product of similar function.

Replacement Terms (Costs & Responsibilities). If Olibra elects to provide a replacement product, Olibra’s obligation is limited to supplying the replacement unit. Olibra is not responsible for and will not reimburse any costs associated with decommissioning, removal, access, diagnostics, reinstallation, configuration, or setup of the product or any connected/controlled devices or systems. This includes, without limitation, labor charges, travel time, lift/boom or access equipment, permits, disposal fees, or any damages, losses, or downtime associated with removing the original product and installing the replacement, whether direct or indirect and whether performed by you or a third party.

WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

  • Damage due to misuse, abuse, negligence, or casualty (e.g., fire).
  • Acts of God (including but not limited to lightning, flood, tornado, earthquake, or hurricane).
  • Consumable parts (including batteries).
  • Unauthorized service or modification of the product or any furnished component (voids this warranty in its entirety).
  • Inconvenience, installation, loss of use, or unauthorized service (no reimbursement).
  • Any losses, injuries to persons, loss of property, or general damages.
  • Products purchased from third-party sellers on Amazon, eBay, and other online marketplaces (our warranty, purchase protection, and community support do not apply to unauthorized sellers). We strongly suggest you do not buy Bond™ products from unauthorized sellers, as such products may be used, defective, counterfeit, or not designed for use in your country.
  • Accessories, power supplies, or third-party components unless expressly covered in the product documentation.

No Warranty or Protection for Controlled Devices or Systems. This warranty covers only Bond™ products and is not extended to, and Olibra provides no warranty, guarantee, insurance, or protection of any kind for, any third-party equipment, components, fixtures, appliances, or devices that a customer uses in conjunction with, controls with, or connects to Bond™ products (including without limitation fans, shades, fireplaces, lights, door operators, or any other controlled devices or systems). You are solely responsible for the selection, installation, compatibility, configuration, and safe operation of any such third-party devices and systems.

Olibra’s maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the Bond™ product in question.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE, AND SPECIFICALLY IN LIEU OF ALL SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IF OLIBRA INC. CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD APPLICABLE TO THE PRODUCT (ONE YEAR FOR STANDARD PRODUCTS; THREE YEARS FOR PROFESSIONAL VERSIONS). SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

EXCLUSIVE REMEDY

REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CUSTOMER, AND THERE SHALL BE NO LIABILITY ON THE PART OF OLIBRA INC. FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY LOSS OF BUSINESS OR PROFITS, WHETHER OR NOT FORESEEABLE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE / REPLACEMENT

To obtain the benefit of the above limited warranty or purchase protection, please email Bond support at: [email protected].

For warranty requests: Be prepared to describe the product that needs service, the nature of the problem, and to provide proof of purchase. You will also be required to return your existing device in accordance with directions that will be provided by Olibra. Olibra has no warranty obligations with respect to any products that are excluded from warranty pursuant to “What the Warranty Does Not Cover,” as reasonably determined by Olibra, and the owner of such device shall bear all shipping costs for the return of such product to owner. Any claim under this Limited Warranty must be submitted to Olibra before the end of the applicable warranty period described above. For clarity, any costs or damages related to decommissioning, removal, reinstallation, or labor associated with the replacement process are your sole responsibility and are not covered by this Limited Warranty. Please allow up to fourteen (14) business days for your warranty request to be processed.
